Jackery plug-in solar review

Jackery sells portable power stations and SolarSaga panels; the HomePower 3600 Plus appears in the US store. Its AC outputs are higher than the 1,200 W caps now in several state laws, so check local limits before buying.

No US plug-in kit listedOn October 14, 2026 this site lists no Jackery plug-in kit sold on the official US store. The text below explains what the store does sell.

Models sold and what they are

Jackery lists HomePower and Explorer portable power stations and SolarSaga solar panels on its store. The US store shows a HomePower 3600 Plus with 3.6 kWh capacity and 3600 W output at 120 V (checked October 14, 2026).

Other Jackery listings include HomePower 3600 Pro Max (3.6 kWh; 2 kW @120 V and 4 kW @240 V), HomePower 3000 (3072 Wh; 3600 W), HomePower 2000 Plus v2 (2048 Wh; 2400 W) and HomePower 1000 Plus v2 (1024 Wh; 1800 W). Jackery also offers SolarSaga panels: SolarSaga 500 X bifacial, SolarSaga 200 W bifacial and SolarSaga 100 Prime (listed IP68).

Jackery’s EU pages show modular variants and EU pricing and product detail; the Jackery store does not publish US retail prices for most HomePower models. If you prefer a microinverter plug-in kit instead of a portable power station, compare microinverter kits on the kits pages and run production and savings numbers with the calculator.

  • HomePower 3600 Plus — 3.6 kWh | 3600 W | 120 V (US store; checked October 14, 2026).
  • HomePower 3600 Pro Max — 3.6 kWh | 2 kW @120 V | 4 kW @240 V (listed by Jackery).
  • HomePower 3000 — 3072 Wh | 3600 W (listed by Jackery).
  • HomePower 2000 Plus v2 — 2048 Wh | 2400 W (listed by Jackery).
  • SolarSaga panels — 500 X, 200 W, 100 Prime (IP68).

Certifications and listings

Jackery product pages in the store listings do not publish UL 1741 or UL 3700 certificates for the named models as of October 14, 2026. Vermont’s law (S 202) requires UL 3700 or an equivalent certification for plug-in equipment.

Because no Jackery UL listing is published on the store pages used here, verify any claimed standard by checking the product certification on the official product page or in a certification database before relying on a particular listing.

How outputs compare with state limits

State laws and recent bills set size limits that affect plug-in systems. The calculator lists laws in effect on October 14, 2026: Utah (HB 340), Maryland (HB 1532), Vermont (S 202) and Connecticut (HB 5340) have 1,200 W caps; Maine (LD 1730) allows 420 W without conditions and 1,200 W with a licensed electrician; Colorado (HB26-1007) has a 1,920 W cap. Several signed bills and pending measures set 1,200 W caps or name a standard to use—see the bill texts for exact wording.

Compare those caps to Jackery outputs: the HomePower 3600 Plus is listed at 3600 W AC at 120 V, which exceeds the 1,200 W and 1,920 W limits named in those laws. The HomePower 3600 Pro Max lists 2 kW @120 V (and 4 kW @240 V), which also exceeds a 1,200 W cap. Smaller HomePower models named by Jackery still list inverter outputs above 1,200 W in the product listings. If a state requires UL 3700-listed equipment, note Vermont’s law names that standard; confirm any Jackery listing against the certification registry.

Who should not buy these units

If you need a grid-tied plug-in system that must stay under a 1,200 W state cap, Jackery’s larger HomePower models are not a suitable choice because their AC outputs exceed those limits. For a compliant plug-in kit in capped states, choose a microinverter kit or a kit whose inverter AC output is listed at or below the local statutory cap.

Official seller listings show alternative microinverter and plug-in kits: EcoFlow STREAM microinverter kits list inverter output up to 1,200 W ($799 and $1,099 on the EcoFlow store, checked October 14, 2026), Mango Power S 1200W Plug-In Solar Kit lists inverter output up to 1,200 W ($2,698 checked October 14, 2026), and Zendure’s SolarFlow Kit lists a 900 W AC inverter ($3,932 checked October 14, 2026). Also check plug and outlet types: Jackery’s EU site warns some AC plugs feature the Europlug (two round pins), so confirm the plug and outlet type shown on the product page for the market where you will use it.

Warranty, support and buying notes

Jackery lists extended-warranty options on its product pages: a membership benefit titled “Free Extended warranty on purchased products” and a paid “2-Year Extended Warranty Fee” specifically named for the HomePower 3600 Plus. Jackery’s EU pages state product warranties can be up to 5 years (excluding some accessories).

The HomePower 3600 Plus appears in the Jackery US shop (country selectable). For current US prices and availability use the official Jackery product pages; run production and savings numbers with the calculator before purchase and compare alternative lower-output plug-in options on the kits pages and reviews.

  • Membership benefit: Free extended warranty (listed on Jackery site).
  • Paid option: 2-Year Extended Warranty Fee for HomePower 3600 Plus (listed).
  • EU page: warranties up to 5 years (excluding some accessories).
